Jaffa Meir is a multifaceted, autodidact artist working since the 1980s in painting, sculpture, photography, product design, carpets and furniture, painting on textile, and computer graphics.
Over the years Meir worked in different fields of art, integrating and combining craft and design.
The central elements incorporated in her work are varied materials, colorfulness, and a lot of glue.

Her work also underlines male and female contradictions and her critique is expressed with humor.
Meir has strong opinions about recycling and environmental protection that is represented in her works by use of materials and shapes.
